Rene Daigle, 85, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was the partner of Lynda Martin.
Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Victorian and Yvetter (L’heurex) Daigle. Rene built his career in dry wall, working as a dry wall finisher. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, as well as taking trips to the casino and watching horse races.
In addition to Lynda, those cherishing Rene’s memory are his children: Mark Daigle, and Sylvie Daigle; his grandson, Zachary; his great-grandson, Joel; and his brother, Claude. He is predeceased by three brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Family and friends may gather from 2 p.m. until the beginning of the service.
