Mary Lou Vizzini

Mary Louise Vizzini, 85, of Wanaque, NJ passed away on July 20, 2023, from complications of breast cancer, a disease she courageously battled for many years.
Mary Lou was born on July 14, 1938, to the late Mary (Foti) De Santis and Angelo De Santis in New York City. After she graduated from Cathedral High School in 1957, she went on to work as an administrative assistant at CitiBank in Manhattan.
In 1975 she met Nicholas Vizzini at they were married on July 9, 1977, in Brooklyn, NY. Together they built a house in East Fishkill, NY where they resided for almost 40 years. After retiring they purchased a condo in Boca Raton, FL where they enjoyed spending their winters. Mary Lou loved traveling the world, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 2013. She is survived by her sister Mildred Zanlunghi and her daughter Nicole Vizzini Garcia and her son-in-law Justin Garcia. She also has 3 adoring grandsons Ethan, Drew, and Dean.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Mary Lou felt strongly about.
