Jacqueline VanMeter Wallace age 93 of Munfordville passed away at her home Sunday, October 12th.
She was the daughter of Jack VanMeter & Mary James (McConnell VanMeter) Harper.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband William C. Wallace, her brothers and sisters Betty Nutt, Melvina Taylor, Colleen Harper, Willie & Conrad VanMeter.
Jacqueline was a 60+ year member of Munfordville Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendent for over 30 years. She was a member of the Munfordville Woman's Club and past member of Hart County Homemaker's club.
She loved reading and when her children were young she would take them to the Hart County Public Library, the youngest in a stroller and the older ones walking along. She also loved to needlepoint, sew and bake.
Jacqueline is survived by a daughter Carolyn Wallace Rohde, sons William Wallace(Trina), Don Wallace(Bonnie) & Robert Wallace; five grandchildren Christina Page(Stevie), Aaron Wallace(Tina Forbes), Carla Snyder(Donald), James Wallace(Jeanna) & Victoria Duncan(Tyler); seven great-grandchildren Autumn, Isaac, Chloe, Lily, Ella, Audrey & Levi.
The funeral service for Jacqueline VanMeter Wallace will be 9:30am Thursday, Oct. 16th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Bellview Cemetery at Danville at 12noon CST. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8pm and after 8am Thursday at the Sego Funeral Home.
The family asks that memorial donations be given to the Hart County Public Library. These donations may be left at the funeral home.
