Mary Lou Whitacre

WHITACRE Mary Lou (nee Helsinger) of Pleasant Plain, Ohio. Beloved wife of the late William Francis Whitacre. Devoted mother of LuAnne Amos, Randy (Kathy) Whitacre, Jamie (Judy) Whitacre and Amy (Steve) Elmore. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Caring sister of Doris Stephenson, Bob Helsinger and the late Arthur Helsinger, Jr. Dear sister-in-law of Marilyn Huffaker and Ruth Ann Demoret. Cherished daughter of the late Arthur and Esther (nee Munger) Helsinger. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Mary Lou was an avid Bowler for 40 years, a 4-H advisor for 18 years, on the Harlan Township Fire & Rescue Department for 29 years, was Citizen of the year for the Morrow Chamber of Commerce, member of Red Hat Ladies, GNO Club (Girls Night Out), Pleasant Pastor Kevin Waters from the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church will be officiating the services for Mary Lou Whitacre. Pall-bearers are: Vernon Amos, Paul Whitacre, Billy Whitacre, Brandon Elmore, Dallas Roy and Hunter Elmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the William F.
