Mary Elizabeth Wilder

Mary Elizabeth Wilder, born on January 12, 1942, in Columbus, OH, to the late Jimmie Sr. and Ruby Wilder, passed away on September 20, 2024, at Ohio Health Grant Medical Center.
A cherished member of her community, Mary dedicated many years to R.G. Barry as a seamstress before retiring from the State of Ohio as a facility specialist. Her commitment to excellence and teamwork earned her the respect of colleagues and supervisors.
Mary was a beacon of hope, volunteering countless hours at the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church food pantry, providing not just food but compassion to families in need.
Having given her life to the Lord at an early age, Mary attended Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies Inc for over 30 years. While her faith was her foundation, her family brought her immense joy.
She is preceded in death by daughter, Erica Michele Walker, and brothers Thomas, Albert, Jim, and David Wilder, as well as her sister Anna Louise Jones.
Mary is survived by her son, Charles (Marva) Walker Jr.; four granddaughters, Erika (Trulaine L) Hardgrow, Latisha (Edward) Ogletree, Keisha (Geary) Godfrey, and Charlena Petty; five great-grandchildren; Trulaine J.L. Hardgrow, Elijah Hardgrow, Cristina Ogletree, Mia Hardgrow, Chloe Ogletree, and three beloved grand-dogs. Siblings Janice Kendell, Ronald (Gloria) Wilder, and Dwayne Wilder, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her legacy of love and service will be deeply missed.
