Mary Helen Wright Williams went to sleep in death on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Living a full life despite several challenges and health issues starting in her youth. She blessed the family of Joe Bristol Wright and Louise Barnes Wright October 8, 1956 at their home on Old River Road in Sylvania, Georgia. With her seven siblings awaiting her arrival, Helen enjoyed a busy and happy childhood.

Mary Helen attended Annie E. Daniel's Elementary School with a paper sack filled with teacakes and hopes.

She graduated from Screven County High in 1974 with a Diploma and a dedicated relationship with her

Heavenly Father Jehovah, that she symbolized in Baptism on December 1, 1973. This decision would help her endure any challenges and hardship in her life. Dedicating her life to Jehovah would not only renew her childhood dreams but also a future and a guaranteed hope.

(Jer 29:11)

Helen worked in several different career paths from the food service industry to an Insurance broker from Florida to North Carolina. She finally followed in her father Joe's footsteps, starting her own trucking company never looking back in the rearview mirror. She loved travelling the roads until her health declined.

Helen especially loved cooking and spending time with family and loved ones. She enjoyed music, dancing, roller skating, delicious chocolates and collecting butterflies! Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, fun, and a full commitment to Jehovah.

Helen was truly a blessing to her family, always lighting up the room with her gorgeous smile and up building conversations. Throughout her life she gave special attention to her "children" that surrounded her with love- especially her nieces and nephews that she held dear and close to her heart. Terra (Johnny) Pierce was the first of many that she nurtured and as life became more difficult with age, Genyetta (Marcus), was there to assist Gwen as a caregiver. She was a treasured "Mom" and Auntie that was there to guide all during their difficult times and to rejoice with them during happy times. All of her loving relatives will truly feel a void without Helen. Her absence will also be deeply felt by her loving and generous congregation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Louise Wright; her husband George Williams Jr; her Sister, Bertha Mae Mobley and her brother Joe Wright Jr. Those left to mourn her are her sisters, Bernice W. (Reggie) Rawls, Jacksonville, FL; Ella L. (Charles) Gary, and Gwendolyn L. Gray both of Savannah, GA; Lizzie F. King of Reidsville, GA; Daisy S. (Robert) Davis, Sylvania, GA; brother, Willie Ernest (Peggy) Wright of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by her beautiful family she gained through marriage. George and Ida L. "Mother" Williams, Walterboro, SC; Mylinder W. Luke, Florence, SC; Eileen W. Williams, Franklin, NC; Priscilla A. Williams, Augusta, GA: Gamaliel L. Williams. Walterboro. SC

Helen truly loved her Father, her God, her Friend, Jehovah. She learned to rely on Him early in her life and He was the reason she could continue to smile through all the pain. She made sure to let others know about His kindnesses by preaching from door to door, telephone witnessing and Public Cart Witnessing. She faithfully carried out her assignments that brought her true joy and satisfaction. She held firmly to her Hope and she shared that Hope with others. Prayerfully she looked forward to waking up into a beautiful paradise here on earth. Will you be there to welcome her?

"…the hour is coming when all those in memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…"
