Mary Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stroud Funeral Home on Feb. 23, 2026.
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mary Elizabeth Williams of Brazoria County, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 39.

Born on September 23, 1986, in Galveston, Texas, Mary was a beloved sister, daughter, Tia and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was known for her kindness, strength, humor, and authentic spirit. Whether she was fishing, enjoying the beach, watching the ID channel, or cheering for University of Alabama football, Mary lived life to the fullest in the company of those she loved.

She is survived by her mother, Corinne Morgan; her sisters, Amy Ybarra (Roberto Ybarra) and Cassandra Isais (Ivan); her brothers, Luis Centeno Jr., Beto Badillo, Dennis Centeno, Elliott Centeno, and Jacob Lambert; her nieces, Madeline and Emma Bodiford; and her life partner, Ricky Olivas. Mary never met a stranger and leaves behind a wide circle of friends whom she considered family.

Mary was preceded in death by her grandmother, Frances G. Williams; her grandfather, Pete I. Williams; her stepfather, Alberto Badillo; her uncle, Pete I. Williams; and her aunt, Frances Garcia.

Mary will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love and the lasting impact she made on all of us. She fiercely supported those facing hardships and gave her whole heart to anyone in need of love and support. Everyone knew they could count on her whenever help was needed. Her ultimate gift was organizing numerous fundraisers for others, a testament to the generous spirit for which she was so deeply loved

A visitation will be Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 10:00 am with a rosery at 10:30 and a service to follow at 11:00 am at St. Michaels Catholic Church.
