Mary, affectionately known as "Maw", was a loving wife to her husband, Donald, for more than 65 years. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She retired after serving many years as town clerk of Fenton. She was a devoted pastor's wife who served alongside her husband for over 54 years in ministry. She also played the piano, taught Sunday school, served as treasurer, and was the Samaritan's Purse facilitator. Maw's hobbies included working in her garden; but she was most passionate about praying for her family and loved ones. She enjoyed painting, reading, playing word games, music and singing. Her laugh was contagious and could light up a room. " Maw" will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.
Those left to cherish Maw's memory include her devoted husband, Rev. Donald Willis, Sr. of Fenton; two daughters, Sherri Lynne Cormier and husband, Phillip, and Marella Anne Bellard and husband, Steven; 8 grandchildren-Dustin, Danny, Lindsey, Michael, Kailynn, Gabe, Erin, and Kimberly; and 3 great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, George B. Flowers, Sr. and Lonie F. Flowers; two sons, Donald Lee Willis, Jr. and James David Willis; and one brother, George B. Flowers, Jr.
