Abbeville, LA -- A Celebration of Life memorial for Milton Willis is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026 at The Mirage – 520 South Miles Street-for 11:00 A.M. Milton Willis was born on May 16, 1964 to the union of the late Ella Mae and William Willis of
Abbeville, LA. Milton grew up surrounded by family, friends and a community that not only loved him, but would often times turn to him for inspiration and guidance when needed. Milton's reserved, quiet and shy actions spoke loudly when he was surrounded by family and friends. His kindred spirit always made his family and friends feel loved and welcomed. A notorious home body, Milton absolutely loved all sports, in which his favorite sports were football and basketball.
A Career He Loved – For over a decade Milton worked for Bayou Pipe. Milton truly loved his job and his co-workers. Milton was known as a "jokester," in which he would always have jokes to share with any and everyone that graced him on the job. He thoroughly enjoyed making his co-workers laugh. It was truly evident that he loved his co-workers, and they loved him as well.
A Life Tremendously Lived – Milton enjoyed spending lots of time at home watching television, working, and spending quality time with his family and friends, especially at his family's home. He loved his family very much and would be sought after until he showed up to family functions, because they knew it wouldn't be long until he'd start joking and making fun of everyone he laid eyes on. Milton had an inseparable love for his granddaughter, Harlem. He would often tell Harlem, "All you love is that phone," because she would not leave his side until he gave it to her. As previously stated, Milton truly loved his job, and it was definitely his second home as he spent many hours there. Enjoyable memories that he made with his co-workers will be cherished forever. We are all going to miss you, Milton!!!
