Mary Workman Obituary
Mary "Louise Workman", 85, of Mabelvale, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Born in Sheridan to Thelma Dortch Ward and Andrew “Newt” Ward, she retired from Levi’s Manufacturing and then went to work at East End Elementary School where she enjoyed serving meals to the students.
Louise loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and with her church, East Union Missionary Baptist.
She is survived by her son, Sterling Workman, Jr. (Jana); grandchildren, Alicia Mizell (Josh), Jessica Tenberge (Caleb), Daniel Workman (Katie), and Spencer Workman (Natalie); and great-grandchildren, Allie Tenberge, Jenkins Tenberge, Ford Tenberge, Zayne Cameron and Sutton Workman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Workman, Sr., her son, Mike Workman, her parents, and sisters, Elsie Ashcraft and Ethel Torres.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to East Union Missionary Baptist Church, 20422 N. Springlake Rd., Hensley, AR 72065.
