Mary Renee Zirkelbach

Mary “Renee” Zirkelbach of Ridgway, passed away May 31, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Renee was born on March 8, 1960 to Earl Hish and Doris (Luckett) Hish. She married Dave Zirkelbach on July 14, 1979.

For many years Renee was co-owner of the Village Boutique in Ridgway, where she worked alongside her Mom, Doris Hish. She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed attending ballgames with her family. She was an adoring grandma to Greyson Carter who was her pride and joy. Renee was also member of St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway.

Renee is survived by her husband Dave, two children; son, Brandon Zirkelbach, daughter, Megan Gill and husband Josh, one grandson Greyson Carter Gill, mother, Doris Hish, two sisters, Lisa Harrawood, Amy Steen (Randy Sanders), sister-in-law, Pam Hish, along with several nieces and nephews.

Renee was preceded in death by father Earl Hish, brother Dan Hish, twin brothers David and William Hish, brother-in-law Steve Harrawood.

Visitation for Renee will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway, IL. A Mass in her honor will take place the following day, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at St. Kateri Catholic Church in Ridgway starting at 10:00 AM with burial immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ridgway, IL.
