MaryAnn Peterson went to heaven on August 15, 2025. She was born on October 19, 1948, to Felix and Elisa Valdez in Del Norte, Colorado. MaryAnn was the oldest of seven children: Bertina, Linda, Frank, Daniel, Victor, and Gloria.
In 1969, MaryAnn married David Peterson, and together they raised four children: Tara, Tavis, Timothy, and Tesa. A loving wife and an incredible mother, MaryAnn was also blessed with twelve grandchildren; Victoria, Sarah (Sam), David (Emma), Michael, Tavis, Mollie, Carson, Delaney, Eason, Aiden, Breana, and Audriana and nine great-grandchildren; Scarlett, Sterling, Scout, Steele, Rollie, Genesis, Caleb, Nolen, and Zyiek.
MaryAnn devoted her life to her family. She was widowed with David’s passing in 1994. In time, she found a loving companion in Eldon Nash, who was warmly welcomed into the Peterson family. His children, Marcy, Barbara, Lonnie, and Tracy also became part of MaryAnn’s life.
Professionally, MaryAnn devoted her career to serving others as a Registered Nurse. She was a sweetheart and will be missed immensely by her family here, but we take comfort knowing she is reunited with loved ones who have preceded her in death.
MaryAnn is survived by her four children, Tara Peterson (Ryan), Tavis Peterson (Rosalia), Timothy Peterson, and Tesa Linstad (Chad); and by her longtime significant other, Eldon Nash.
MaryAnn was amazing.
