Maryanne Coonley

Maryanne Coonley, age 91, of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully December 7, 2025. Beloved wife to late George Coonley for 52 wonderful years. Devoted mother to George (Nancy Dorsch) Coonley, Angela (John) Bartodziej, Daniel (Mary) Coonley, Mary (Stephen) Skinner and the late Gerald Coonley. Loving grandmother to Jessica (John Hermle) Coonley, Kate (Bill) Lang, Kelly (Josh) Kronwall, Allison (Luke) Borch, Daniel Coonley, Jonathan Coonley, Matthew Skinner, and Caroline Skinner. Adored great-grandmother to Angela, Grace, and Shirley. Dear sister to the late Thomas (Roberta) Culhane, and the late Joseph (the late Carol) Culhane. Beloved aunt and cousin to many.
Maryanne was a devoted NICU nurse for many years, giving countless babies their very first start in life. She was a devout Catholic that attended services frequently at St. Peter Church, in Volo. Maryanne loved to craft, especially quilting, enjoyed travel, gardening, birds, and reading. Her favorite song was Blue Skies. One of her most cherished places was her cottage on Fourth Lake in Rhinelander, WI where she spent many joyous weekends in solitude and with family. She will be deeply missed.
