Maryl Ann Colgan returned to the Star People on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Billings Montana. Maryl was born to Debra and Paul Douglas Colgan on June 11, 1989, in Poplar, Mt. She attended Poplar Schools and graduated in May 2007. Maryl moved to Billings thereafter and attended MSU-B, majoring in Human Services. She loved to work and made many lifelong friends in the service industry.
Maryl was a bright and shiny star that lit the room with her brilliance and love. She enjoyed collecting treasures, rummaging abandoned houses, and giving new life to forgotten goods. Maryl loved spending time with her family and friends most of all; and regularly gifted them with trinkets she handpicked.
Maryl is survived by her mother Debra Colgan of Poplar; Her sisters, Darci Boyd of Poplar; Alison (Aaron) Colgan of Billings; Her brother, Adam Colgan of Phoenix; Her nieces, Marshelle (Lee) Weinberger of Williston; Brenden Lee of Poplar; Kwyn (Hunter) Colgan of Billings; Kylie Gourneau; Kacie Colgan; Kali Colgan; Her nephews Robert Lee Jr.; Ashton Colgan; and numerous great nieces and nephews; her aunts and uncles, Tom & Marquieta Colgan of Poplar; Joann Clark of Winnemucca NV; Mike (Mary) Boyd of New Town, ND; Dave & Chong Boyd of Brockton; Lewellyn Boyd of Brockton; Jim Thompson of Hamilton, KS; Greg & Donna Rauschendorfer of Poplar.
Maryl was preceded in death by her father, Paul Douglas Colgan; her grandparents, George (Barlow) & Della Colgan; Lewis & Loetta Boyd; her uncles, Jonathan, Robert, Vernon, and Lowell Boyd Sr.; Tom Miller; and Kamen Lee.
