Marylou T. Cicalese

Family & friends are respectfully invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, June 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Marylou T. (Grover) Cicalese, who passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14th at her residence in Everett. She was 73 years old. A Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Marylou was born in Boston on May 6, 1951. She was the loving daughter of the late Frederick Grover and Marie (Gayhart) Falanga. Marylou was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to raising her family. She worked for many years as a florist and would eventually utilize her passion in floral design to open her own flower shop. In her later years, Marylou began her own bus company, called "Mary's Little School Bus", as an opportunity to be closer to her granddaughter and to ensure she made it to and from school safely.
She was the cherished mother of Gina M. Arzola and her partner Diego Garcia of Everett. Adored grandmother of Maryah Arzola of Washington D.C., Victoria Arzola of Arlington, and Chloe Arzola of Everett. Cherished great grandmother of Zarya Arzola De Jesus. She is the dear sister of Carol Gayhart of North Carolina, and the late Joann, John and Michael Gayhart. She is also lovingly survived by her daughter Gina's father, Carmen Mayo of East Boston and several nieces and nephews.
