Our amazing wild child Mason Wesley Cole Cowdery joined his Heavenly Father Christmas morning after battling for his life from a tragic accident Friday afternoon.
Mason was one of the strongest and toughest kids we know. He will always be number one in our hearts with his many accomplishments. Defensive MVP for his mighty might football team. He was a natural athlete and leader, coaches would tell his team mates to knock it off or they would line up against COWDERY!!! He had just started to dominate in wrestling, with wins against 7th and 9th graders at only 11 years of age. He loved to brag about that one.
Mason loved anything outdoors, from water skiing behind his dad’s boat or racing him down a snowy mountain. This boy was all adventure all the time, a few being camping, and hiking, anything under the sun.
We were able to see the sweet tender side of Mason as he played with his twin siblings. As an older brother he was always willing to try or do anything. He helped his dad on many projects from pouring concrete, learning how to drive the skidster, a Georgia buggy, or climbing on the roof helping mom with Christmas lights. Mason lived a big beautiful life and his passion for it will be missed by everyone who knew him.
His father (Matthew), mother (Bradie), bio mom (Angel), siblings (Elias 15, Keaton 11, Caddie-Lynn 8, Julius 7, Rocky & Rylee 1), Big Dog Goose, grandparents, coaches, teammates will miss his excitement, snappy come backs and his joy for life with a constant 'go, go, go'.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 3rd at 11am at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington, Ut.. Family and friends may visit at the mortuary on Thursday, January 2nd from 6-8pm and Friday from 10-10:45am.
