Mattew Dale Parks Reyes, a bright and cherished light in the lives of all who knew him, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the tender age of four. He was born on February 3, 2022, the son of Devon Mansfield Parks and Yuliana Wendolit Reyes.
Mattew was a loving, sweet, and curious young boy. He had an infectious laughter that could light up any room, and his social spirit endeared him to friends and family alike. Mattew thrived in the vibrant world around him, filled with joys that included afternoons at the park and pool, where he would play with unbridled enthusiasm. Mattew loved going to the gym to lift weights so that he could be rewarded with two toys. He enjoyed going to work with his Dad at the car wash.
Mattew was particularly enamored with his time at the trampoline park, where he could freely jump and play, surrounded by laughter and joy. His adventurous spirit continued to shine through his love for cartoons, especially Bluey, and he had a particular fondness for fruits, savoring strawberries and pineapples, alongside his love for cheese.
In his short time, he formed a remarkable bond with his dog, Lucky, who provided companionship and joy. As a preschooler, Mattew was eager to learn and explore, sharing his enthusiasm with his classmates and caregivers.
Mattew leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His playful nature, laugh, and loving heart will forever be missed by his family and friends, who cherish the beautiful memories they created together. May he rest in peace. Matthew 19:14 “Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
