We are so very sorry to hear about your dear Matthews passing. Cy- hearing your stories and seeing his photos made us feel like we knew him. We wish we had. We are sending you all our love and prayers.

Matt was a mentor and friend to me. One of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. Crushed to hear this.

To Cy and family:

I just heard about the passing of your son, and wanted to offer my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

I´m struggling to find the right words. I don´t think there are any. To bis family and loved ones- thank you for helping him become the man he is. I say is, because he is still with you. Maybe not physically, but he IS still the same great man, great friend, great "classmate". I´m sending so many prayers to you all. The Matt I knew, kept a smile on your/my face. Over time, I hope that is the normal again. Rest Matt. Rest In Peace and rest knowing how loved you are!!

Cy and Karen, my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I am someone who did not know Matt well but I wanted you (his parents and family) to know how much he helped me on several days in my life as a parent that were some of the worst. I felt helpless and Matt was kind and reassuring. He was confident and patient at a time when I felt weak and in despair. I'm sure you are so very proud to have such a son. I know there are no words to ease your pain - there would not be for me. Just know he was a fine young man. I will always remember how wonderful he was. May he Rest In Peace.
