Matthew Bergeron, affectionately known as "Matty," was born on November 7, 1987, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him, embodying the very essence of compassion, love, and loyalty. Matthew's adventurous spirit was a constant source of inspiration, turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. As Helen Keller once said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all," and Matthew truly lived his life as a daring adventure.
He had an unwavering commitment to his family and friends, always ready to share a laugh, a hug, or a word of encouragement. Matthew's unconditional love was most vividly displayed in his deep affection for his children, Emma and Zayden. He was a pillar of strength, a source of comfort, and a beacon of love for them.
Matthew was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where he nurtured enduring bonds of friendship and community. His love for music and movies, alongside his passion for walking, served as the soundtrack and backdrop to the many cherished moments he shared with his loved ones.
He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories to be cherished by his children, Emma Barnjum of Winchendon and Zayden Kennedy-Bergeron of Fitchburg; his mother, Elaine Bergeron; his mother, Shelley Martin; his siblings, Rachael St. Cyr, Corrissa Figueroa, and Joseph Bergeron; and many nieces and nephews, Kianna and Mariah Figueroa, Clarissa, Malana, David and Craig.
His legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered by those who were privileged to have known him. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bergeron; his sister, Laurie Josselyn; and his grandparents, Cecile and Genere Guimond.
