He is predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia A. Cassidy and his youngest son, Kevin E. Cassidy. Matt leaves behind his oldest son, John Cassidy and daughter-in-law, Maryann Cassidy, who live in The Villages, FL and Matt's brother Lee Cassidy & sister-in-law Audrey Cassidy of Corapolis, PA.
Matt and Pat moved to Sun City in Bluffton, SC from Shelton, CT in 2006. Matt was a Navy veteran. He owned his own insurance agency, was active in the rotary club, traveled extensively with his wife and loved to golf.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton.
