With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew who left this world far too soon. His life was filled with love, faith, laughter, and purpose. Matthew, 18, of Kuna, Idaho, passed away February 12, 2026. He is survived by his loving parents, John and Lucineide, his brothers Spencer and Jeffrey.
Matthew was raised in Kuna, Idaho, where he built strong roots in his community and formed lasting friendships. He graduated from Kuna High School in 2025. He worked at Taco Bell in Kuna and later at Amazon, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude. No matter where he worked, he brought dedication and integrity to every task.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking and spending time in nature. Some of his happiest moments were spent with family and friends. He had a lot of fun spending time with his friends and girlfriend. He loved to work on cars with his dad, listening to music, playing video games, or spending time outdoors. His favorite was eating his mother’s food and talking to her at the dinner table. He embraced life with enthusiasm and found joy in both adventure and simple moments.
Above all else, he loved his family. His mom was his angel, his dad his example, and his brothers his best friends. The bond he shared with his family was the foundation of his life, and that love was evident to everyone who knew him.
He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and the genuine way he cared for others. Though his time here was short, the impact he made will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Though we grieve deeply, we take comfort in knowing that his faith carried him home. He will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
A funeral service will be held 11:00, Friday, February 20, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8625 South Linder Road, Kuna, Idaho, with a public viewing beginning at 10:00 am. A burial will follow at Kuna Cemetery, 1321 W. Boise St., Kuna, Idaho.
