Matthew R. Danish, 23, of Upper Burrell Township, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Manor Township. He was born June 15, 2001 in Pittsburgh, to Robert S. and Jackie L. (Thiele) Danish. Matthew spent most of his life in Upper Burrell Township, and was a 2020 graduate of Burrell High School and a 2021 graduate of New Castle School of Trades, where he earned his heavy equipment operator and CDL licenses. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Lower Burrell and worked as a truck driver for Tyler Mountain Water, Inc. Furthermore, Matthew was a member of the Upper Burrell Fire Department, as well as the Clarion Chapter of the Motorcycle Rights A.B.A.T.E., or 'Alliance of Bikers Aimed Towards Education'. In his free time, he enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, canoeing, off-roading in his Jeep, and spending time with his family and friends at the Buttercup Woodlands Campground in Renfrew, Butler County. Besides his parents, Matthew is survived by his brother, Nathan J. Danish of Upper Burrell Township; and half-sister, Bernadette Brusoe of VA. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Donald (Jolan) Thiele of FL; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred and Jane Danish; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Thiele. A visitation will be held Friday, August 2, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday 9 to10 a.m., at DUSTER FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 347 East 10th Ave., Tarentum 15084, (724)-224-1526. Services will be conducted Saturday, 11 a.m., at Bethel United Methodist Church, Lower Burrell with his Pastor, Clint T. Phillips officiating. Burial will be private.
