It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew Gregory Docar, age 54, on January 12, 2025 at his home in Southington.
Matthew was born June 7, 1970 to Gregory Docar and the late MaryAnne Christensen Docar.
He was a graduate of Southington High School and worked for UPS for over 25 years.
He leaves behind his father Gregory Docar and his stepmother Kathleen Connolly Docar, his aunt Karen Aduskevich, aunt and uncle Kristen and Frank McKenna, his cousins Captain Kyle Aduskevich (USN) and his wife Vanessa, Ryan and Lindsey Aduskevich, Brendan McKenna and his fiancé Juliana, Brett and Megan McKenna, son Joseph Docar, stepsister Julia Connolly McCarthy and close friends, Tom and Nanette DeLorenzo.
Matt was predeceased by his grandmother Cecelia Docar, uncle John Aduskevich, his mother MaryAnne Docar and his stepbrother Eddie Christensen.
