Matthew is survived by his three children, Camdyn, Kingston and Chloe Lewis of Huntsville; children's mother, Shannon Riley of Huntsville; parents, Bill and Jill Lewis of Trinity, Kelli Davis-Stevenson and Rod of Willis; grandparents, Billy Joe and Virginia Lewis of Crockett, Ron and Theta Davis of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Michelle Lewis of Huntsville; nieces, Lacey and Blayne Lewis of Huntsville; step-sisters and step-brothers, Pamela Durr of Metarie, LA, Derek Lewis of Angleton, Lisa Lewis of Alvin, Theresa Chano of Stafford, Blake Stevenson of Bakersfield, CA; uncle, Scott Davis of Lufkin; aunt, Stacie Davis of Lufkin, cousins, Jared, Jacob, Jordyn, Erik, Kendall.
Visitation for Matthew William Lewis will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Matthew William Lewis will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Covenant Fellowship Church, 606 F.M. 1791 North Huntsville, TX 77320. Interment to follow at Porter Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Covenant Fellowship Church.
In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to The Lewis Children Trust, c/o Mark Lewis [email protected] or Covenant Fellowship Church 606 F.M. 1791 North Huntsville, TX 77320.

I met Matt through his work, as he handled orders for my area of town. He would come by my shop frequently and we always had great talks. He always went out of his way to go above and beyond. I just found out he passed away and I am saddened by the news and wish his family, friends and co-workers peace and strength in these difficult times. I will miss you Matt.

Matt was our sales representative and such a good one and nice person. We all enjoyed talking with him on the phone and met him when he came to town and took us to lunch. He will be greatly missed and my prayers go out to his family and friends.

Matt was an exceptional salesperson; he was very knowledgeable and always willing to help. He taught me a lot about different materials for signs and even helped troubleshoot some printer issues. Over time, we became good friends and would talk every week about business, as well as our kids and things we did. His sudden departure has made me sad. He will be missed.
