I never really got to know Matthew that well but what little I knew about him we did talk for a lot of our shift just about life. I worked with him when he was training on CT at Wilson Hospital. I wish I had gotten to know him sooner.
I give his family my deepest condolences.

Matt and I were friends at the hospital. He was always encouraging and when I would feel overwhelmed with school he would always be there cheering me on. He was an accidental friend, we met through a mutual friend, but I believe God knew I needed a friend like him in my life. I will always remember Matt. One of my favorite things he´s ever said to me was "I saw you driving your breathing machine yesterday" it made me laugh because we don´t `drive´ our equipment like he did with the transport x-ray machine. Anytime I had to take a vent somewhere I thought of him, now I will cherish that memory.
His family is in my prayers, my deepest condolences. He was such a great person, I only regret that we didn´t meet sooner.

Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. Matthew was always so polite and kind and comical when he would stay at the house with Dylan.
