Matthew Markley Obituary
He was born in Akron Ohio, on December 21, 1982.
Matt was an avid sports fan, and loved playing basketball.
He was a proud stay at home Dad to his only son, Lincoln.
Matt is also survived by his wife of 9 years, Kelly; his mother, Jeanne M. Markley; mother-in-law, Sherry Cross; grandmother, Ora Greer; brothers, Chuck (Kara) Markley and Dan (Christy) Markley, sister-in-law, Katie (Bryan) Roberts; nephews, Joey and Alic; nieces, Alexia, Kamryn, Cila and Britney.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Markley, II and step-mother, Denise Markley.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW at 7:00 pm with Sue Ross officiating.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel,5850 Wales Ave NW, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any animal rescue program or animal shelter.
