Matthew Mazzitelli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home on Dec. 5, 2025.
Matthew Mazzitelli tenderly graced this world with his presence on November 22, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. His life, albeit short, was filled with immeasurable love, incredible strength, and profound courage. Tiny but mighty, Matthew was a beacon of resilience and hope, his spirit touching all who had the privilege to witness his journey, however brief. His fight for each breath was an inspiration to us all, teaching us the true value of life, and the power of love and faith.

Matthew was the cherished son of Michael and Lexus Mazzitelli, who found in him a love that transcends time and space. He was the beloved younger brother to Marlee, who will forever keep his memory alive in her heart. His grandparents, Sharon and Timothy Mazzitelli, Heather and Christopher Bartoy, and his great-grandparents, Charles and Tessa Lindsey, Denice Foxx, and Daniel Bartoy, all loved him dearly. Matthew will be deeply missed by an extensive family that includes his uncles, aunts, and cousins. Matthew's journey precedes those of his great-grandparents William and Eileen Griffin, Frederick and Rita Mazzitelli, and great-aunt Kathleen Sakitis who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

Matthew's life, although fleeting, left an indelible mark on all those who knew him. In the words of A.A. Milne, "Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart." Matthew, our Matty Miracle, was a testament to this truth. His courage and resilience were mere fractions of his inspiring legacy. The love he shared and inspired will forever resonate with all who knew him. His memory will be a comforting presence, a reminder of the preciousness of life, and the inspirational power of love and resilience.

Matthew's funeral service will be held on January 9th 2026, 11 am at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Covington, WA. We invite you to celebrate Matthew's life by sharing your prayers and well-wishes on his memorial page. May his spirit continue to inspire us, reminding us of the unwavering power of love, and the courage inherent in each breath.
