Matthew McNealy Obituary
Decatur - Pastor Matthew S. McNealy, 53, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2026. He was proceeded in death by his parents Bob and Pauline, and his brother, Brian. He is survived by his wife Stephanie; children: Colleen (Devin), Ben (Darcie), Mattie, Shamus, Adeline, and Finnegan.
Also survived by his brother, Chris.
November 19, 1972, marked the birth of our beloved husband, father, pastor and friend. For 35 years, Matt served our Lord in many capacities with a dedicated, pure, and true servant's heart. Since January 2021, Matt has pastored Argenta Baptist Church and has had a profound impact on the surrounding community.
His heartfelt ministry has spread love and continues to shine the Light of Jesus, fulfilling his calling.
As Matthew 5:15 reads, "In the same way, let your light shine before the people (carry the light)."
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Argenta Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm following visitation.
Condolences and memories may be shared online at https://www.gracelandfairlawn.com. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
