It is with much sadness to announce Matthew Poole, age 55 passed away on March 28, 2024 at his home in Lapeer, Michigan. He was born in St. Clair Shores on October 20, 1968.
Matthew attended high school and graduated from Chippewa Valley in Clinton Township, Michigan in 1986. Matthew went on to become an accomplished machinist at Dominion Tool and Die. He was very well respected in his field for his talent and attention to detail. In his younger years Matt enjoyed many water sports including jet skiing and tubing on his boat with friends and family. Matt also took pleasure in spending time in his garage tinkering on his vehicles and playing pool. As a kid many a day were spent playing on Fonthill Court with his friends and riding dirt bikes. After receiving his first Atari, he was hooked and enjoyed playing video games throughout the remainder of his life.
Matthew was preceded in death by his mother Janie (Wedge) Palazzolo and father Claude Poole. As well as longtime companion Anna Benvenuti. He is survived by his brother David Poole, aunt Marilyn Evenson, cousins Dawn Downs and Tammy Nicoletti.
Please join his family on Saturday, May 11th, 2024; for a memorial gathering from 3:00p.m. until the time of his Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, Utica, Michigan. Please share a memory with his family at www.SullivanFuneralDirectors.com
