Charlie Gili
April 24, 2013
Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Seidler Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Dear Lauren, Marc and family, when our daughter enlisted in the Air Force we entered a world unknown to us. Over the years we have met the most wonderful young people and their families. We had joined an exclusive family of parents and loved ones,to worry and also to be so proud of all the service men and women and their brave families. May your memories of Matthew be a blessing and a comfort.

My sincerest sympathies to all of you. Thank God for men & women like Matthew & for their families, because they to have much worry on their shoulders as well.
I normally try to separate my self from the pains of such news, however this time Matthew & his fellow soldiers have come close to my sole. You see I have a son & daughter in law both in the Air Force. Our daughter in law has been deployed to Afghanistan to replace Matthew, Bryan Bell & Matt Schwartz. She has been training with these good men & knew them well. So I ask you in your grief that you also pray for our daughter in law Sherri for her safety.
I know that Sherri would want to send her deepest sympathies to you also, she is very good at helping those out in need. Thank you so much for your prayers & rest assured Mathew is in ours. May Gods blessings rest upon you and your family.
Sincerely, Jim & Judy Streu, Pinckney MI

Lauren and Marc,
As one of Matt's recruiters, I helped put your son in the Air Force. I saw him through his time in the delayed entry program until the day he left for service. I again worked with him for recruiter's assistance when he returned home after completing EOD school. He was so excited, proud, and eager to begin his career. I can say with utmost certaintly that he will be missed. I cannot begin to find the words to express the sorrow I feel for you and your family at this time. All I can say is that I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the ultimate sacrifice you and Matt have made.
