Matthew Satchfield Obituary
Matthew Ronald Satchfield, age 36, passed away in Jefferson LA after a brief and sudden illness, January 4, 2026. He was born to Ronald and Dianne Satchfield in Mobile, AL on September 26, 1989.
Matthew was an accomplished Eagle Scout who enjoyed traveling, living and spending time at the beach, and was a passionate Alabama Football Fan! He will be deeply missed by all those lives, blessed to be touched by him.
Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rains B. and Edrena B. Satchfield, and William C. and Ola Emmons.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ronald and Dianne Satchfield; sister, Erin (Miles) Nelson; niece, Maddelyn Nelson; nephew, Kenneth Nelson; other relatives, many friends, and his beloved French bulldog, Lanee.
Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, with visitation from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest West Cemetery.
