matt was my friend and i miss him. he was kind and he loved to laugh and i wish he was still here laughing with us. i celebrate five years sober today and i wish he was here, too. he loved his kid more than anything. before he left he said he's so grateful his son is loved, even if he wasn't always there. he said he left his kid in good hands and he was grateful.
love.

Matthew was my friend and I will miss him dearly. He was one of the most talented people I knew and, if he knew how to harness those talents productively, his life would have been very different. I know that, now, he will find the peace that eluded him here on earth. I am glad to call him my friend.

Matt was always like an older brother to me. I regret not getting in touch and reaching out to him sooner. I remember snow drifting, going to the gym and playing video games. He never failed to cheer you up when you were down and he never failed to look at the positive side of things. May he RIP.
