Matthew W. "Matt" Sheline, 43, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 3:00PM until 5:00PM, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac. Memorial contributions in Matt's name may be made to the American Heart Association. Those wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.clarkch.com
Matt was born January 30, 1979, in Mishawaka, to Cheryl Miller and Jeff Sheline. On April 4, 2021, he married the love of his life, Deb Dawley. Matt was a hard-working man, and was proud to have followed his dream of starting his own business, My Guys Mobile Detail Shop. He was an avid Michigan State fan and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Matt had a great sense of humor and was often the life of the party. Most of all he loved his family and loved playing Santa Claus at Christmas to his nieces and nephews. Matt will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Matt is survived by his loving wife, Deb Sheline; son, Matthew Sheline; mother, Cheryl (Tony) Miller; father, Jeff (Doncella) Sheline; siblings, Tony (Stacey) Miller, Justin (Heather) Miller, Andrea (Ben) Baker, Jessica (Steve) Jackson, and Bryan (Brooke) Sheline; nieces and nephews, Alexis Miller and Baylee Miller, Mckenzie Miller, Juliette and Emmalin Jackson and Ellis and Ava Sheline; maternal grandmother, Ellie Brown; aunts and uncles, Marc (Jill Lambright) Hardy, Howard (Holly) Miller, Linda (Chuck) Stingley, Sherry Bingham and Laurie Miller; and many, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Marie Sheline, paternal grandmother, Shirley Miller; paternal grandfather, Harley Miller; maternal grandfathers, Melvin Hardy and David Brown; uncle Rick Miller; aunt, Kathy Kohls; and nephew, Hunter Miller.
