Eileen Rochelle Dry, aged 68, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Born in Zimbabwe, Africa on October 28, 1957, to Marilyn Jane (Jensen) Dry and John Dry, both of whom predeceased her, Eileen grew to become a beacon of love and kindness within her community and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Eileen spent her formative years in the vibrant landscapes of Africa, experiences that fueled her passion for art and culture. This passion led her to pursue higher education where she received her Bachelors in Art and French, an education that would form the cornerstone of her career and personal endeavors. As a graphic designer, Eileen's keen eye for beauty and her ability to capture emotion on the canvas won her admiration and respect in the working world. Her creativity was not confined to her profession, as she manifested her love for arts through various forms, painting and pottery being her favorites.
Her Christian faith was the underpinning of her life. It guided her values and her generous spirit. Eileen's garden was a testament to her faith, where she cultivated not just plants but also love and peace, reflecting the very essence of her soul.
In her personal time, Eileen was an ardent car enthusiast. She found joy in the power and elegance of automobiles, a contrast to her more gentle artistic pursuits and a facet of her personality that often surprised and delighted those who knew her.
People were naturally drawn to Eileen's loving, kind, and friendly demeanor. She had a way of making those around her feel cherished and valued. Eileen's ability to listen and genuinely connect with others left a lasting impression that will live on in the hearts and minds of her friends and family.
As we bid farewell to Eileen Rochelle Dry, we celebrate a life lived with passion, empathy, and grace. Eileen's vivid presence will be fondly remembered through the colorful canvases she leaves behind, the blooming garden she tenderly nurtured, and the echoing laughter within the walls of the many lives she touched. Her legacy is one of beauty, kindness, and a warm friendship that transcended the ordinary, marking the lives of those around her with the indelible impression of her affectionate and generous spirit.
