Matthew Gabriel "Matt" Teboe

Matthew Gabriel "Matt" Teboe, age 41, of Wilmington, tragically passed away Wednesday July 24, 2024 while fishing at Cowan Lake State Park. While tragic, his family does take solace in knowing that he passed while doing what he loved. Matt was born in Wilmington, Ohio, August 7, 1982, the son of Phillip Eugene and Susan Lynn (Houser) Teboe. Whether fishing local lakes or pay lakes the "Crappie Slayer's" life revolved around fishing. He was especially fond of Cowan Lake and Wind Mill Fishing Lakes outside of Clarksville. Matt was a kind, big-hearted, young man who enjoyed to cook and spend time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Phillip and Susan Teboe of Wilmington; brother, Lawrance (Marie) Houser of Clarksville; several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and numerous fishing buddies. Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until services begin at 7:00 at the funeral home.
