Matthew A Whitcraft

Matthew A. Whitcraft, 46, McArthur, passed away Tuesday July 8, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was beloved by his family and children and always loved them back.
He was born in Athens, Ohio, December 7, 1978, the son of Howard (Shelby) Whitcraft and
the late Angela Jones. He was a graduate of Alexander High School, where he
took part in Football, Basketball, FFA and FHA. He was employed in the construction
field as a concrete finisher, he took pride in every job he did, and left a lasting smile on all his friends and
anyone that crossed his path.
Matt is survived by his wife Erica Davis Whitcraft; his father Howard, children Taelor (Korey) Ramsay,
Karley Whitcraft; Grandchildren Kross and Kenzie Ramsay; stepchildren Allison Marie Cook, Mesha Leighanne
Cook, Riley Isabell Cook; Siblings Tonia (Ryan) Brickles, Trinity Whitcraft,
Charity Whitcraft, Brian Whitcraft, and Kayla (Adam) Whitcraft.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Angela Jones, stepmother Shelby Whitcraft,
grandparents Helen Morris and Frederick Thompson, a niece Dallas Whitcraft, friends Ernie Davis,
and Andrew Nesser.
Visitation is Monday July 21, 2025, 4-6 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, a service will be
held at 6 P.M. with Jim Vandagriff officiating. Cremation will follow services.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
