Matthew Wickstrom Obituary
Matthew's loves of his life were his children, Jaylynn Bleise and Ayden Wickstrom.
Matthew enjoyed his work and time as a cook at The Bluffs and the Harbor Haus Restaurant.
Matthew had a fun, enthusiastic view of life. Always laughing, he loved to show his children new adventures like searching for Yooperlites. He was an avid sports fan, specifically hockey, and was a proud supporter all of his children's endeavors. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved to fish on Lake Superior, hike waterfalls, and swim at White City. He always took time for, and held a special place in his heart for his friends.
Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rudolph Marvin and Bette Wickstrom and John and Marie Zerbst. His dear friend, Devin Wright. Matthew is survived by his parents, Kim King (Zerbst) and Steven Wickstrom. His children, Jaylynn Bleise and Ayden Wickstrom. Siblings John Wickstrom and Katie Wickstrom, and John's son, nephew Roger Wickstrom and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service for Matthew will be held at Hidden Pines Barn at 4pm on July 6th, 2025 with a celebration of life to follow.

So sorry to learn of Matthew's passing. His late Uncle "Rodger" was happy to learn of his nephew's middle name and we followed his and John's sports accomplishments from a very proud Grandpa Marvin and Grandma Bette. I had been at Harbor House in early October, enjoying the great food unknowing Matthew worked there, what a chef. Rest in peace Matthew and may the angels guide you to the palm of God's loving hand. With sympathy and loving thoughts to Matthew's children, parents, family and friends. Aunty Karen.
