she would round up a large group of students and take long walks down to see the hudson river.i was amazed how beautiful and relaxing it was.being a kid from the bronx it was a joy to see.i remember the bronx only had cement streets.all of us walked to the back of eagle park where we were surrounded by green bushes and tall trees.our walks were always a great retreat.a place of peace and quiet.
