Maude Burris Obituary
Maude Marie Burris, 74, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Marie was born June 20, 1951, in North Carolina to the late James H. Burris and the late Emma Marie Burris.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Melvin E. Burris.
A graveside service will be on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Barbee's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakboro officiated by Pastor Ed Lowder, located at 24819-A Barbee's Grove Church Road, Oakboro.
Marie was a wonderful friend to have and she exuded joy, and showed happiness and love towards everyone she met. If you were friends with Marie, you knew you were loved and were blessed to have her in your life.
Survivors include friends, Mark and Sherri Hill of New London, NC.
Donations may be made to Barbee's Grove Baptist Church in Oakboro.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Burris family.
