Maureen Curran passed away at home on August 29th from liver cancer. Maureen was born in Gateshead, England.
Maureen was interested in gardening, the arts and alternative approaches to healing. She spent time in Japan teaching English and had a keen appreciation for both the written and spoken language. She was involved with the British Columbia Association of Practicing Aromatherapists and served as president for several years.
Maureen will be remembered as a massage therapist at the Kingfisher Spa where she worked for close to fourteen years. She was a great friend and mentor to many of the therapists. She will be dearly missed by her son Rowan, father Alan, Dale and her many friends and colleagues.

Dear Dale and Rowan:

I was deeply saddened to read about Maureen. I'd known her for about twelve years. Maureen was an earth-bound angel in her nature, her presence and her many healing gifts.

Dale, a few years ago Maureen had mentioned that you were in a relationship a few years ago and I hope that is a comfort.

Maureen was my wonderful friend for more than forty years and I loved her very, very much. I miss her terribly. I hope that one day somewhere, somehow, we'll meet again. Godspeed Maureen my dearest Love xx
