Maureen was the youngest of 9 children to Albert and Mary Grace Faranda. She also has two young half siblings. Maureen lived in Virginia, California and Ohio which contributed to her love of travel. She also loved word searches, getting her nails done, shopping and music. Maureen was an excellent swimmer which was a skill she learned from her father. She never turned down the opportunity to dance. She enjoyed talking about the various celebrities she met while she took part in the Special Olympics when she lived outside of Los Angeles. Maureen lived at Jennings House receiving supports from Welcome House for many years. She had a special bond with housemates and caregivers there. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 5 at 3 pm at Berry-McGreevey-Martens Funeral Home, 26691 Detroit Road, Westlake, OH 44145.
