Maureen (Harrington) Faulstich, 79, of Beverly, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Beverly Hospital, with her husband by her side, following a brief illness. Born in Salem, MA, she was the eldest daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Harrington.
Mo married the love of her life, August "Jay" "Fuzzy" Faulstich. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage built on partnership, humor, and deep affection. A talented floral designer for many years, Mo's arrangements brought beauty and joy to countless occasions, and her own tables were always adorned with her flowers. Mo will be remembered for her creativity, her passion for life, her love of reading, and her deep devotion to her family and friends.
Some of her happiest hours were spent tending her remarkable perennial garden, abundant with peonies and lilies. She and Jay hosted countless dinner parties and Sunday night suppers filled with good food, laughter, and plenty of wine.
Mo and Jay spent 52 years in their home and created a lovely property, which was a center of love, family life, and a gathering place for a wide circle of friends. Mo was happiest as a hostess, sharing her love through food and hospitality. Her freezer was always packed, and her pantry never without a backup jar or bottle - just in case. A genius in the kitchen, she loved experimenting with new recipes using the bounty from their vegetable gardens. Her happy place was the beach, and she delighted in being on a boat or floating in the ocean. She and Jay shared a love of travel, visiting friends and exploring parts of the world, including Hawaii, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Singapore, New Zealand, and Ireland.
When in the company of her family, she was fond of saying, "We are so blessed to have this life."
She is survived by her beloved husband, Fuzzy; her daughters, Jennifer Kuhns (Jim) and Emilie Cademartori (Gregg); and her grandchildren, Lillian, Julia, and Elizabeth Kuhns, and Connor and Corinna Cademartori. She also leaves her siblings, Kathy, Eila, David, and Peg, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, MA, from 4:00-6:00.
