Maureen Herrera Obituary
As a youth, she enjoyed horseback riding, basketball and volleyball. In her teen years, her parents supported their daughters by traveling as a family for rodeos and athletics. She got married in 1981 and has since been a devoted wife and loving mother to her two children, and enjoyed being a grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ramon "Porky" Jimenez and Peggy Jimenez. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Fernando Herrera; her two daughters Alveda Mathis and Alyson Herrera; grandchildren Kaden and Delana Mathis; sisters Vonda (Jerry) Wewa, Rhonda (Michael) Greene; Doreen Jimenez, Wanda Jimenez; uncles and aunt Modesto Jimenez, Linda Jimenez, Allen "Punchy" Jimenez and numerous family members from both the Jimenez and Henthorne side, notably Donna Weiser, Shari Brown and Sissy Foster.
The family would like to especially thank Lucy and Elizabeth from Klamath Hospice and the staff for their compassion and care they showed her and the family in her final months. Last wishes were for cremation and private funeral services.
