Maureen Lee Lawson, lovingly known as Moe, was called home to the Lord on October 6, 2023. Born on October 21, 1948, in Wright Patterson AFB, OH, Moe was a beacon of love, kindness, and friendship to all who were blessed to know her. She departed from this earthly realm in
Lapeer, MI, leaving behind a legacy of love and a family who will forever cherish her memory.
Moe was a devoted mother to her children, Robert (Sheila) England, Dawn Mosher, and Melanie (Matt Conner) McIntosh. Her love for them was immeasurable, and her dedication to their happiness was unwavering. As a grandmother, she showered Alexis Mosher, Jack McIntosh, and Caleb Conner with affection, teaching them the importance of kindness and the joy of laughter. Moe was a beloved sister to Doreen Cameron and Kathleen Muth, sharing with them a bond of sisterhood that was as strong as it was enduring. She now joins her parents, Fredrick and Muriel Grage, in the heavenly realms.
Moe's professional journey led her to Walmart, where she worked diligently, always putting forth her best effort. Her work ethic was commendable, and her friendly demeanor made her a favorite among her colleagues. Moe's dedication to her work was a testament to her character, reflecting her belief in the value of hard work and the importance of kindness.
In her leisure time, Moe found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time with her family, creating memories that will now serve as a source of comfort and joy for her loved ones. Moe also found delight in playing Sims, a pastime that allowed her to express her creativity and playful spirit.
Moe was a woman of exceptional character, embodying the virtues of thoughtfulness, kindness, and friendliness. Her heart was as big as the southern sky, and her spirit was as warm as a summer's day. She touched the lives of many with her gentle soul and her unwavering kindness, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Today, we celebrate the life of Maureen Lee Lawson, a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose kindness touched countless hearts, and whose memory will forever be a beacon of light in our lives.
