Mary (O'Donnell) Curran of Marshfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 27 at age 89. Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on December 30, 1935, to Irish immigrants Michael and Helen (Gillen) O'Donnell, she was the oldest of six, and the only girl. She is survived by her brothers James M., John J., Kevin H., and Donald F., and predeceased by the youngest, William L. O'Donnell

Maurice "Maury" Curran passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025 at home with family. (He was predeceased two weeks earlier by his beloved Mary.) Born on March 8, 1933, he was one of seven children born to Irish immigrants Timothy and Mary (Manning) Curran in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Brother of the late Tim Curran, Peggie Miller, and Theresa Schneider, he is survived by siblings Mary McLellan, John Curran, and Helena Griffin. Maury was a proud veteran who served in Korea during the Korean War.

During their 65-year marriage, Maury and Mary were rarely seen apart. They lived in Marshfield for almost 50 years and raised three children, Maury Jr., Moe, and Marybeth. They were highly active in their local parish, St. Ann's by the Sea, volunteering during services and organizing events such as the annual St. Patrick's celebration. They were active in their children's lives, as well as in the lives of their grandchildren, Vincent, Jessica, Maurice, and Gracie, and their great-grandchildren, Remi, Paulie, Lucy, and John.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Due to flower restrictions at the National Cemetery, the family requests that donations in their memory be made to a worthy charity of your choice.
