Maurice Fredrick (Fred) Collier, 87, Coatesville, passed away on October 22, 2025, at Cumberland Trace, Plainfield. He was born in Morgan County on August 30, 1938, to the late Thomas Minor and Ruby Dell (Fulford) Collier. He married Mary Ruth Evans on July 10, 1960, at Amity Baptist Church. Fred and Mary Ruth graduated from Eminence High School in 1956. Fred served in the army and worked in construction, real estate, and surveying over the years, and tremendously enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by sons, Brent Evan (Tamara), Douglas Alan (Rebecca) and Jeffrey Todd (Laura) Collier; ten (10) grandchildren, Taryn Elizabeth, Andrew Todd, Mitchell Thomas, Shelby Leeann, Makayla Marie, Blake Evan, Adelynn Renae, Ella Lynne, Laney Joy and Owen August; eight great-grandchildren; and brother Thomas L. (Les) Collier.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by spouse Mary Ruth and his sisters Norma Lund, Emma Jane Arnold, and Wanda Weekly.

Funeral services will be held in Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday, October 27 from 11:01 am to 1:00 pm Contributions may be made to Hendrick County Community Foundation in lieu of flowers.
