Rhesa Karen Quesinberry Collier, 72, of Willard, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with illness.
Born on January 1, 1954, in Rowan County, Kentucky, Rhesa was the cherished daughter of the late Elzie and Verna Mae Lambert Quesinberry. She was preceded in death by two beloved daughters, Elizabeth Rose Walker and Rhonda Joyce Sparks Seagraves, as well as three brothers, John Sidney Quesinberry, J.D. Quesinberry, and Gary Wayne Quesinberry.
Rhesa was a devoted member of the Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched many lives; especially her Sunday School kids. She was not only known for her strong spirit but also for her exceptional talent in cooking, often creating wonderful meals for her family and friends. Above all, Rhesa treasured time spent with her family, filling their lives with love and joy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Charles Damon Collier; five grandchildren, Ashley Tolliver, Randi (Eddie Cummings) Eldridge, Leslie Eldridge, Shauna (Tyler) Ison, and Katie Fraley, all of Grayson; and 12 precious great-grandchildren whom she adored: Karen, Zack, Aarion, Luna, Emma, T.J., Josh, Brantley, Charlie, Joseph, Lily, and Eli. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother, Dennis (Louise) Quesinberry of Morehead; her sister, Tempa "Penny" Sharon (Darrell) Thomas of Morehead; and a vast circle of friends and extended family who will forever remember her warmth and love.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Malone Funeral Home, with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Quesinberry Cemetery in Rowan County. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects during visitation from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday until the service hour.
