Maurice Dwyer Obituary

Maurice F. Dwyer Jr.
Maurice (Moe) Dwyer of Stoddard, New Hampshire, 81, passed away on March 2, 2024, after a brief illness.
Moe was born on Aug. 22, 1942, to the late Maurice and Gertrude (Chadwick) Dwyer of Meriden, CT. Moe graduated from Wilcox Technical High School in 1960. He was married to his one true love, the late Janice (Graham) Dwyer on Aug. 10, 1963. The two spent 57 loving years together.
Many may remember Moe from D&D Auto Center of Wallingford, CT, co-owner for over 40 years from 1976 to his retirement in 2017. Moe loved spending time at his summer home in Stoddard, New Hampshire since 1981, and made it his permanent residence in 2017. He was a well-known resident of the town, and an active member of the Stoddard Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years. It was his second family whom he loved and was proud to be part of.
Moe leaves behind his three children: his son, David Dwyer, and his wife, Aline, of Wallingford, CT; his daughter, Carrie Arthur, and her husband, Steven, of Woodstock, Conn.; and his daughter, Deborah Powers, and her husband, Dale, of Meriden, CT; and his five grandchildren: Kayleigh, Graham, Axel, David and Samantha. Moe also leaves behind his sister: Patricia Dwyer Panciera and her husband, Carl, of Westbrook, CT, along with his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stoddard Fire and Rescue, P.0. Box 268, Stoddard, New Hampshire 03464.
Services will be private.

So sorry to Mo's family on his passing. I hope he didn't suffer.
We worked together at ARNCO Sign Company during the 60's. He taught me much about a lot, things that have helped for a lifetime. He gave me an obsoleted toolbox which I still have. I have many fine memories from that period. I am very sorry that Moe is gone but the memories will survive.
