Maurice Gomez Obituary

Maurice was born August 6, 1964 in Stamford to Marcello Gomez Sr. and Francesca (Moreno) Gomez. He was a 1982 Stamford High School Graduate. He married Rhonda Martinez, November 26, 1984 in Anson, Texas. They were members of St. Ann's Catholic Church and later moved to Sweetwater in 2008 where he was employed as a Correctional Officer.
Maurice loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grand babies. He also enjoyed music, fishing and cooking out with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Jessica Diane Gomez and brothers Antonio Gomez and Marcello Gomez Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Rhonda Gomez of Sweetwater; daughter Rebecca Gomez and Cody Warden of Sweetwater ; sons Maurice Gomez Jr., Ramey Gomez and Ysidra all of Sweetwater; grandchildren Christian Gomez, Donavan Mueller, Averie Gomez, RJ Lucil, Jace Gomez all of Sweetwater and Jessa Cy Ann Gomez due to make her arrival in January; sister Rosie Navarette and Tommy of Kerrville; brother Alfred Gomez of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
