Maurice "Morrie" Kennedy
Died: May 17, 2025
Maurice "Morrie" Kennedy, age 80, of Union and formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away May 17, 2025. Morrie is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret "Peg" O'Grady Kennedy; loving children, Sean (Angie), Josh (Harmoni) and Shannon Kennedy and bonus children Maureen (Jim) Brennan, Colleen Kerrigan, Kathleen (Mike) Belt, Michaeleen (Pete) Panico; cherished grandchildren, Aidan, Harper, Mason, Maddie, Mya and bonus grandchildren, Christina, Caitlyn, Ashley, Josh, Erin, Ella and bonus great grandchildren, Renea, Harlee, Havanna, Arabella, Ellie, Walker, Axel, Robert, Rosalie, Riley and Lucy B.; dearest sister, Janet Kennedy Jensen; and step nieces and nephew, Susan Craig, Margaret (Ralph) Lawrey and Raymond (Eileen) Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Marguerite, nee Schmidt; his bonus daughter, Eileen Murdy, and his bonus granddaughter, Meghan.
Visitation Saturday, May 24th, 12:00 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin. Interment private.

Maurice was more than just a cousin to me. He was a friend, confidant, and someone that just made the world a better place to be in. I will miss him more than words can express. Much love to Peg, Sean, Josh, Shannon, and all those that love and miss him.
